Happy New Year! We hope you enjoyed the holidays and are starting to get back into your daily routines.
We are looking forward to the new year and the opportunities it brings. One of the things we’re working on is providing you, our members, with more information on the benefits that are available to you. We’ll be sending out email blasts, direct mailers, posting information on our Facebook page and hosting webinars. Please make sure we have your current email and home address on file, so you don’t miss out on these educational opportunities.
Also, now is a good time to start thinking about those Local Council Activity reports. The reports are very important and show just how essential UCT, our local councils and our members are to the communities we serve. We also submit the reports to the American Fraternal Alliance every year. Then, they present the information to decision-makers in Washington D.C. to show the impact fraternal organizations have nationally and internationally.
And last but not least – the 2018 UCT Convention will be here before we know it. Mark your calendars and plan to join us July 2-5, 2018 in Savannah, Georgia. Be on the lookout for more information about the convention and the service project for this year.
